Solution 1- Apply the original.A transaction log file with ‘.qbw. ADR file’

 

Apply the ‘Original Transaction Log File’ and the Auto Data Recovery version of your company file to retrieve the current transaction records. The following are the steps to complete this process:

·         Add a new folder on your ‘Desktop’ and name it ‘QB Test’.

·         Move to that folder where you save this company file and click ‘Open’.

·         You have to copy the ‘Corresponding.tlg’ file and then paste it to QuickBooks Test Folder on the computer.

Show the File Extensions

·         Press the ‘Windows+E’ keys. This will open the ‘File Explorer’.

·         You have to click the ‘Organise’ option and select the ‘Folder’ and click ‘Search’.

·         For Windows Version 8, 8.1 & 10- Click ‘View’ & select the ‘Filename Extension’ option.

·         Select ‘Hide Extensions’ for the file types that are known.

·         Choose ‘Apply and Ok’.

·         Open the folder ‘QB Auto Data Recovery’.

·         Copy the ‘ADR file’ and click Paste to ‘QB Test Folder’. The folder contains a .tlg and qbw.ADR file extension in the QBTest folder.

·         Proceed to the QBTest folder and then right-click on ‘qbw.ADR file’.

·         Click on the ‘Rename’ option.

·         Remove the ‘.ADR’ file extension.

·         Again open the QuickBooks application and ‘Open’ that company file which you save in the ‘QBTest’ folder

·         Check that all transactions are there or not.

·         ‘Run’ and check used to make sure the accuracy of the company file

·         If the company file seems accurate, move the corrupted company file to a different destination.

·         Lastly, you have to transfer a copy from ‘QBTest’ to the original location.
